I am Shea Curtin and I am your "QUARAN-TEEN" baker. Shea La Vie was started as my happy accident at age 14.
In 2020 COVID-19 arrived and crippled our country. Like every other teenager I was on my phone all day, EVERYDAY. My mom told me she was going to throw my phone out of a window if I didn't get off of it, and find something constructive to do!
I started baking. I scoured the internet for recipes. I spent hours on Pinterest and YouTube learning how to bring my ideas to life. I started trying out new recipes and sending them with my dad to work. He is FDNY, and he and his crew were working around the clock. I wanted to give back to our first responders. My heart was breaking watching what they were going through.
My mom began sharing my cupcakes on social media, and I was watching my ideas come to life.. People went CRAZY and I received multiple requests to. make my cupcakes available for purchase. After MUCH resistance, Shea la Vie Cupcakery was born!
I have now spent HOURS in the kitchen, donated HUNDREDS of cupcakes, created fun and innovative flavors, and learned so much along the way! I would love to help make YOUR life sweeter one cupcake at a time!
